Orson Pratt Brown (1863-1946) His Five Wonderful Wives and Their 34 Children An Honest and Healing Account of Their LIfe Histories Two Volume Set: Volume 1: Autobiography of Orson Pratt Brown (1863-1946) Volume 2: Wives and Children of Orson Pratt Brown This work includes 40 histories, photos, maps, documents, appendices, bibliographical references, and indices. Orson Pratt Brown (1863-1946) was born in Ogden City, Weber, Utah on May 22, 1863. He was the last child of Captain James Brown (1801-1863) and Phoebe Abigail Abbott (1831-1914). His fearless, compassionate, and adventurous life spanned almost 83 years, from 1863 to 1946. It bridged two centuries (the 19th and 20th) and two nations (the United States and Mexico). His life was filled with the daily challenges and adventures of the Wild West, of cowboys and renegade Indians, decent people and outlaws, Mormon religion and plural marriage, Mexican colonization and revolution, U.S. citizenship and Mexican citizenship, economic success and depression, and family success and failure, and efforts for family reconciliation. Today, he and his five wives have over 1,500 descendants who are likewise contributors to the communities in which they live. During his life, Orson was known for his honesty, courage, and hard work as a pioneer settler and colonist in southern Arizona and northern Mexico; as a freighter, cowboy, rancher, farmer, sheep man, cattleman, and lawman: a rural police officer in the Mormon Mexican Colonies, Captain of the Mormon Militia in Colonia Juarez, Captain of the Mexican Rurales (Rural Police) in his District, executive Enforcement Officer of the International Stockgrowers Association on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border, and General Agent for Security of the Mormon Colonies during the early period of the Mexican Revolution (1910 through the Mormon Exodus of 1912). He was also a U.S. Customs agent, U.S. Army Secret Service agent, miner, businessman, Mormon, and a compassionate man to those in need. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!!
